I have been working myself to death over the past two weeks since my

mother-in-law moved out!

But, I've just about gotten caught up with the basics!

Friday was Eric's birthday!

We babysat Amelia for Eric & Erin's date and then we had birthday cake when they got home!

Johnny & Pam came up from Athens to spend the weekend so, they were there for cake too!

Eric & Erin came over for a little while today!

I got to play with my angel!

Tomorrow, I'll be babysitting for a few hours!

Love spending time with my little doll!

Now, I think I shall go to bed!

I'm exhausted!

Our nest is officially empty as of July 14th!

Lamar's mom moved to her daughter's house!

We didn't try to stop her when she made this decision.

I really did need a break, after caring for her for 12 years!

I pray they will take care of her needs! She is in God's hands.

We can only pray that He will take care of her.

Now, I have a lot of cleaning, de-cluttering & organizing to do!

I'm already exhausted, but I feel like I've accomplished a lot in

these last 3 days!

Eric took Amelia to Athens over the weekend to a GA Bulldog

charity event!

I'm posting a pic of them with the "Hairy Dawg"!

The weekend before, he & Erin both went to Athens to visit her Aunt & Uncle.

Father's Day 2013

We had a great Father's Day celebration!

First, Marty & I went to the early service at church.

Then we had to stop by Costco for some things for his store.

After that, we came home & made banana pudding to take to Eric & Erin's house.

Marty mowed the grass while I finished the pudding.

Then we went to E&E's house for lunch.

The Dad's were, Marty, Curtis (Erin's dad), Shorty (Erin's grandfather) & Eric!

Also there were, Curtis' wife, Ann, Erin, Amelia, Ian (Erin's brother) & me.

Erin's grandmother passed away a few weeks ago.

She was 90.

Her grandfather was sad. They had been together for 71 years!

He is 91. He did enjoy playing with Amelia!

I know the 2nd pic is a little blurred, but it is so sweet!

 

Eric grilled burgers for lunch.

After lunch, we went out back.

Amelia played in her little pool.

She loves it!

 



We had a lovely day!

Yesterday I watched Amelia so that Erin could take care of some business!

That little angel is so much fun!

 

It's been a while!

Old age is slowing me down!

We have been spending as much time as possible

with our precious Amelia!

She has filled our hearts with joy!

She will be 1 on May 7th!

It is hard to believe how fast the year has gone by!

We are so thankful to our God for this little miracle!

 

Well, the Spring cleaning is under way!

I'm working on the pantry & will soon do the other kitchen cabinets!

My coupons are behind!

I need to get on that soon too!

Better get to work & off the computer!

Amelia is crawling now!

Nonna is going to babysit today for Eric & Erin to have a date day!

Poppy will join me after he gets off work!



Amelia is absolutely amazing!

This is a photo Erin took of her yesterday!

 She started out on her play mat in the middle of the room! Erin didn't see how she got to the toy under the tripod! Maybe she is crawling or maybe she scooted over there!

Either way, I am grateful to our Awesome God for the progress she is making!

She truly is a miracle baby!

Amelia had her 9 month check up with the  pediatrician on Friday!

She weighs 13 1/2 lbs.

She is very close to crawling!

She gets up on her knees, but hasn't quite got the moving forward part yet!

She is really doing well!

And, she loves her Nonna!

We have facetime on days that I don't get to go see her!

Things are busy as usual here!

In addition to the usual routine, I'm planning a trip to Gatlinburg with my hubby

to celebrate our 35th Anniversary!

I'm so excited to get a break!
